PowerToolsReport

Editorial Policy

Our editorial policy explains how we research, write, and maintain content at PowerToolsReport. We follow this policy to deliver content that is accurate, useful, and trustworthy.

Sourcing

We rely on primary sources whenever possible: official documentation, published research, manufacturer specifications, and direct testing. When we cite a third party, we link out to the original source.

Writing process

Articles are produced by our editorial team and are reviewed before publication. We use research tools and AI-assisted drafting in our workflow, but every piece is fact-checked, edited, and approved by a human editor before going live. We do not publish raw AI output.

Updates and corrections

We update articles when underlying facts change (prices, regulations, product availability, etc). The "Updated" date at the top of an article reflects the most recent meaningful change. Material corrections are noted within the article.

Affiliate and advertising disclosure

PowerToolsReport is partially supported by affiliate commissions and display advertising. We disclose this both site-wide (in the footer of every page) and per-article (at the top of any article that contains affiliate links).

We never accept payment in exchange for a positive review. We do not allow advertisers to influence our editorial decisions. When we recommend a product, that recommendation reflects our genuine assessment.

Topics we cover

PowerToolsReport focuses on power tools, DIY, and home improvement. We don't write outside our area of expertise.

Use of AI

We use AI tools for research, outline generation, and first drafts. All published content is reviewed and edited by a human editor for accuracy, clarity, and originality.
